I often love to people-watch and I may generate some of my best ideas from it.
Their style, their gestures.
I'm obsessed by faces.

fashion illustration goes big

I'm quite happy about this huge wallpainting especially done for The Micam.

It contains all my informations about making portraits, perspective, trend forecasting and colors.

The subject is "sport couture", a very inspiring dress code.
Probably the best style in fashion at this time.

I had immediatly the idea to paint a group of people:
I was searching to express a very casual allure and fresh attitude.

In this fancy crew I brought together family and friends, models straight from the catwalk and famous bloggers....

Something that I really love about my job?
The power of creation.

Painting is like doing something magic...

Racchiude tutte le mie informazioni sulla moda, ritrattistica e sensibilità per il colore.
Il soggetto è "sport couture" :
Una grossa fonte di ispirazione, che mi ha permesso di esprimere la freschezza e la casualità dello street-style contemporaneo.

Ho immaginato di riunire un gruppo di persone vicine e lontane, amici e parenti, blogger famose e modelli, con la stessa gestualità e colore.

Questa capacità di unire elementi diversi è cio' che piu' amo nel mio lavoro:
Dipingere ha in se qualcosa magico,
come unire dei punti distanti fra loro,
creando una mappa speciale e unica.

corriere della sera - the last month

ops.. I haven't update my blog for a while.
I have been very busy.

I was traveling, from Morocco to Milan.
From Milan to Piacenza and than Sardinia island.
The weather has been great in the Island, warm and sunny. 

Back to the foggy city, I'm working like crazy.
I'm preparing a huge scenography for The Micam Milano.

This is very challenging and demanding job. 


The ultimate goal of humans, therefore, is to develop their reasoning powers and skills.

Meanwhile I've been drawing for Corriere della Sera, every saturday one of my illustration was published. I feel very blessed and happy to share my latest vision with you. love xxx Natalia

no eletricity? no problem, I will use the candle light.

I'm in Morocco at the moment enjoying the african sun.

The editor @ Corriere della Sera called me on thursday evening for an emergency.
Of course the illustration has to be done very fast...
..the deadline is friday afternoon.

At the beginning I was a bit stressed:
in our hotel there is not eletricity, and the connection internet is the slowest on earth.
so..
I was working at night only with some candle lights, and
I manage my internet malfunction with some smart move. (eh eh)

Once again, here is the process of creation:

The two first ideas came very natural.
and the final image was quikly printed on pag 37.

The editor gave me such a short notification for this illustration!
She called me thursday night at 7 pm
and the image was ready on friday, at 12 pm
:)

That is why the art director of Elle Italy call me:
"the fastest illustrator in the world"

I admit, I love this work so much.
The pink palette, the allure of the girl, the relaxed atmosphere

It was is my first editorial of 2014.
