Illustrations for "Corriere della Sera"

I'm very proud to present some of my recent drawings for the italian n.1 newspaper.

This has been maybe one of the biggest goal of my career, so far. :)

A big lesson I've learned in life is to be patient and never give up.

beside that,

I love working for Corriere della Sera 'cause this makes me feel like having a "social role".

In the history of art, the first illustrators, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec or Alphonse Mucha for exemple, were artist working for commercials, newspapers or shows.

Creativity became closer to people, it was due to explain concepts, it had a practical application.

Working for a newspaper is trilling also 'cause everything as to be done fast, and the day after the creation is already printed.

Tip Toes Invitational

Last sunday I went to Recco (Genova, Italy) for the "Tip Toes" Single Fin Contest.
It was such a cool event...

Some of the best italian loggers got invited to the contest:
It was all about fun and style. :) I've met lots of friendly people!
100% Focaccia, friendship and noseriding all day long!
Everyone was so happy, I guess.

I won the "style of the day" special prize.
I was very surprise... I did not expect it at all.

Now I'm in Sardegna, a big swell is comin' and I'm ready to shred again!

summer feeling

After a very long winter, a lot of darkness and rain, finally the light is back.
I dedicate all my energy to nourish my garden inside - out.
Now is time to leave the house and keep on searching.
Next step? The island.
I feel this will be a very inspiring summer.

I'm glad to introduce my work for "The Micam". (Milano 3/6 march 2013)
It's a big wallpainting 8mt x 2 featuring the latest trend for shoes, AW2014.
The big size is always a challenge, and the final result, in this case was quite surprising.
I had a lot of fun while painting, even if proportions of each subject were tricky. I'm normally working on small papers, using tiny brushes, and this is totally another story.
Portrait, colours and vision are the key.
