Les Affiches

I'm glad to present a few posters I've done for IUAV University of Venice,  Lasciadire Surf Club, Reef Europe, Desillusion Magazine and Pitti Immagine (Modaprima)
Have a great week end! :)

Alphonse Mucha

I always get a lot of inspiration by watching Alphonse Mucha's Affiches. I just love the hair of his female subjects and the way he shapes the scenes. Here you can se my favorites. Hope you Enjoy this 100% Art Nouveau Vibe!

Alphonse Mucha (IvanĨice, South Moravia 1860 - Praga 1939)
Painter and draftsman, he was one of the initiators of Art Nouveau in Europe, he got very famous for the remarkable posters he created for Sarah Bernhardt.
Mucha produced a flurry of paintings, posters, advertisements, and book illustrations, as well as designs for jewelry, carpets, wallpaper…

Silvia and Simone

I like clothes only if there is a "body" that wears them.
I found really interesting when people are acting a role, when they are able to combine colors, when they walk on the street following their own story.
I think gesture and shapes are what really turns me on.
Fashion illustration is just an excuse to draw portraits, to catch the life "behind" clothes.
thanks to Silvia Bergomi and Simone Marchetti for being such a great models :)
